Mariana Signeanu

As Partner in our firm, Mariana is responsible for a variety of financing, restructuring projects, real estate acquisitions and sales and other real estate and construction matters in Banking and Finance and Real Estate teams. She is an experienced lawyer, advising both lenders and borrowers in financing transactions or major real estate players in their real estate projects in Romania.

With an extensive record of real estate and project finance transactions (financing and acquisition or refinancing of logistics, office or residential projects), Mariana has also been involved in other major financing transactions covering insurance, agriculture or food industries and other debt restructurings deals. She aims at delivery of constant high standard legal advice and legal documentation, while maintaining a commercial and pragmatic approach in the projects she is involved in. This approach has brought her acknowledgement in the directories such as Legal 500 for several years. Before joining B&A, she was a partner in a reputable law firm in Romania.

Mariana graduated from the Law School of Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, was a Jean Monnet Fellow at WU-WIEN, Vienna University of Economic and Business Administration and holds a M.Sc. in law and finance from Queen Mary University of London.

Mariana is a member of the Bucharest Bar Association. She is fluent in English.

In her spare time, Mariana loves to cook, is passionate to dance and likes to travel.
