“When financing a company, investors and financiers will assess the likelihood of identifying and applying a Covid-19 medical solution in the short to medium term, versus the assumptions underpinning the company’s business plan over a period of at least 3–5 years. Based on current public information, with a global-scale Covid-19 vaccine distribution solution taking shape from the third quarter of next year, I anticipate a high level of scrutiny from traditional financiers in 2021. The difference will be made by those willing to hedge their risks, to bet on the future of humanity, freeing themselves from the burden of immediate financial indicators.”
