A comeback for Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)

The fluctuation of energy prices during the pandemic when demand decreased, and the current disproportionate increase in prices are factors that have led to the reinstatement of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) in legality. Corporate entities are beginning to shift towards these agreements for the procurement of renewable energy to ensure their market stability and to maintain and enhance attractiveness to investors.

Nota bene! The execution of PPA contracts is valid only for energy capacities commissioned after June 1, 2020.
