Introduction of the notion of “quantitative compensation” with the related increase from 200kW to 400 kW of the installed capacity with regard to renewable power plants;

Modifying the definition of “prosumer”; and balancing obligations for prosumers from 400kW to 900kW (the limit up to which the prosumer shall not pay for imbalances caused to the grid).

Eliminate the 24-month period during which the prosumer can consume excess energy from the grid. As a result of this last amendment, ANRE will have to meet the legislator’s requirements by issuing a new methodology applicable to the case.

  1. Introduction of the notion of “quantitative compensation” with the related increase from 200kW to 400 kW of the installed capacity with regard to renewable power plants;
  2. Modifying the definition of “prosumer” and Imposing balancing obligations for prosumers from 400kW to 900kW (the limit up to which the prosumer shall not pay for imbalances caused to the grid)
  3. Eliminate the 24-month period during which the prosumer can consume excess energy from the grid
