Alina Buculei

Senior Associate

Alina is a Senior Associate with B&A and member of the Corporate, M&A, Employment and Data Protection teams.

Her experience consists in performing complex mergers and spin offs, drafting, and negotiating share deals, asset deals and shareholders’ agreements and continuous involvement in due diligence processes. She continuously assisted international and national clients in reviewing and negotiating commercial and distribution agreements and provides legal assistance on day-to-day corporate matters.

Alina was a team coordinator in gap analysis checklists processes and reports for assessing the companies’ compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation, both from a legal and security of information perspective, conducted trainings on compliance and assured the implementation of GDPR in all processes of the clients from various industries. Furthermore, Alina has extensive experience also on complex employment, work health and safety and immigration matters, IP, IT & Technology and Regulatory mandates.

Before joining B&A, Alina has gained her experience as a manager in several national and international law firms in Romania.

Alina has graduated from the Law School of the Bucharest University (in 2011) and the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures (English and Italian Languages and Cultures) (in 2010). Alina also focused her education on two Masters on Business Law at the Bucharest University and University of Toulouse and in-depth courses for expanding her expertise in M&A and Data Protection from prestigious universities and programs from USA, the Netherlands, Finland, and Romania. She is a member of the Bucharest Bar and is fluent in English, French and Italian languages.

Alina is a hard-worker, always looking for self-improvement and detail-focused person, able to work under pressure and always showing business-oriented approach of any legal issues.

Strong believer in the fact that travelling enriches your soul and opens your perspective, Alina is very passionate about knowing new places and cultures and photography. Also, Alina is very focused of the empathic approach in all areas of life, and she is very devoted to her family, friends, and dogs.
